SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, CEHS Technology Services, the Technology Services Supervisor oversees and provides primary technical support to the faculty and staff within the College of Education and Human Services. The position includes, but is not limited to, software and hardware expertise required to support the academic programs, research and administrative needs of the College.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Draft and distribute documentation for new or modified hardware/software as well as delineate new policies/protocols for the end-user.
Supervise technology support staff, student workers and interns, providing guidance and mentorship.
Create and deploy JAMF policies to automate software distribution on Apple/iOS devices
Create and deploy custom packages through SCCM.
Troubleshoot printers, copiers, fax machines, multifunction devices, and AV equipment such as projectors, video conferencing cameras/mics and racks.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain standard/non-standard software and hardware.
Support specialized lab applications and servers.
Support research grant-specific applications, servers and file shares.
Investigate, evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades.
Procure, maintain and track of our client CEHS Technology inventory.
Administer Active Directory services and assist in development and maintenance of the College applications.
Manage special projects as assigned by the Director.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Relevant IT certifications/equivalent experience in an information systems role may be considered in lieu of degree.
A minimum of three years of direct, hands-on experience on technical client support on Windows and Mac hardware and software.
Experience using industry-standard ticketing or incident response platforms such as ServiceNow or equivalent.
Experience using JAMF to manage Macs in an enterprise environment.
Experience creating and distributing computer configuration using enterprise technology.
Must have a working knowledge of Active Directory/Domain management.
Demonstrated personal and professional commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
PREFERRED:
JAMF 100 or higher certification is a plus.
Experience using and writing scripts in Bash and/or PowerShell.
Experience working in a K-12 or Higher Education environment.
Comfortable accessing unfamiliar technology such as those utilized in specialized labs and getting acclimated quickly.
