About the Role
Hire Direct is looking for an IT Cyber Security professional to join our team. A core function of this position is to interact with multiple teams and support multiple tools and processes related to Data Governance, Risk, Compliance, and associated projects.
Serves as a technical resource for cyber security development and implementation of projects
Collaborate to define cyber security standards and develop supporting organizational policies.
Perform security and compliance assessments on new and existing systems, processes, technology
Support vendor due-diligence process and help to define overall 3rd party risk management efforts.
Work with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective.
Support internal and external audit process for relevant compliance reviews including PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR.
Perform business impact analysis and assist with development of IT/InfoSec risk register.
Interface with IT and business partners to provide guidance and support.
Perform periodic IT General Control gap assessments to validate compliance on an ongoing basis.
Stay up to date and informed on developing regulatory concerns and changing IT and information security trends.
Periodically work off hours to support project schedules or system support.
Adheres to all Windstream and IT policies and procedures
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements: College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7 years professional level related Technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
