Job Description:

HIREDIRECT is currently working with a client hiring a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will prepare financial reports that serve as summary information for managers. In this role you will be compiling, interpreting, and reporting information on a variety of data types. Are you highly analytical and deadline driven? Then this Data Analyst position is for you.

– Extract, manipulate and organize data in response to management requests

– Rely on analytical, organizational, and investigative skills in order to take on data mining projects

– Create and share key decision-making data for market assessments, forecasting and further investigation

– Interpret corporate reports, such as quarterly earnings, to build sound financial reports

– Compile analytical reports and identify relevant insights

Requirements:

– Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

– Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a high attention to detail

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Knowledge of a variety data models

– Expansive mastery of data management and manipulation

– Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications, inclusive of queries, pivot tables, and V-lookups

– BS/BA in Accounting, finance, or economic

– 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role
