Defines enterprise technology and engineering principles and best practices.
Develops next-generation engineering solutions focused on Resiliency and Innovation .
Engineers and integrates the critical systems and platforms used across the Bank and with external Clients.
The Role
you will work with our leadership teams to develop technology strategy and roadmaps including public cloud efforts to support engineering growth. You will help manage specific program initiatives and facilitate cross-functional and cross-business projects. You will develop communication decks and related website content.
Design and oversee a wide range of larger scale strategic projects, directing and formulating recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.
Contributes to defining the organization-wide architecture and engineering strategy. Develops and implements policies to ensure client satisfaction and leads key initiatives.
Maintains familiarity with industry best practices and seeks opportunities to implement as appropriate
Work collaboratively with technology leaders
Provide project management support, and objective analysis and decision support on ‘special projects’ as necessary
Act as liaison for relevant strategic cross-functional initiatives across the business, and help develop and track implementation plans to ensure the right level of focus and discipline
Translates complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences. Creates senior management presentations enabling effective communication of related strategies
Utilize comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of multiple areas within technology to consult with teams during the technical planning process and advise on technology and process decisions.
Develops and provides technology direction for the business units supported. Defines and maintains an overall technology plan and development roadmap that will support the growth planned across the IT organization. Designs, performs and oversees a wide range of larger scale strategic projects, directing and formulating recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in. Provides solutions to highly complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Utilizes comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of multiple areas within technology to consult with teams during the technical planning process and advise on technology and process decisions. Identifies important technology areas for development, and initiates the projects needed to drive the technology strategy. Keeps abreast of contemporary concepts in IT strategy and management and applies these to develop innovative business solutions and business transformation plans and roadmaps. Contributes to the achievement of Strategic Planning objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred
12+ years of related experience required
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
Program Management Experience strongly preferred
Agile training a plus
Exceptionally proficcient Microsoft Excel skills
