Job Summary:
Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services in support of all district computing systems.
Position Information:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support for end users of all district educational and business computing systems.
Provide assistance to the Instructional Support Technology Team in support of educational technology initiatives. Work with the leadership team to develop future solutions for classroom technology needs.
Repair damaged and/or broken hardware. Coordinate warranty and for-fee repairs with technology vendors. Obtain vendor repair certifications (where appropriate) to facilitate timely, cost-effective repairs.
Provide support for new technology initiatives including the installation of new equipment.
Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for classroom technology equipment including electronic whiteboards, projectors, printers, and other peripherals.
Provide installation and maintenance support for all district software titles. Provide guidance in the development of standard software images. Image and update educational and business computing equipment as needed. Leverage use of automation systems for managing software system updates. Manage software testing procedures prior to deployment.
Provide basic maintenance of network systems at the direction of the technology services leadership team. Install and troubleshoot network devices such as printers, copiers, wireless access points, and phones.
Assist with the installation of network cabling and devices such as printers and cameras.
Support best practices for security of all district devices and systems.
Manage user accounts and passwords in district directory services system.
Qualifications:
Minimum two to five years’ experience in an information technology organization
Minimum Associates Degree in Computer Technology / Information Systems
Recent experience manging Mac OS required. Thorough knowledge of Mac OS management techniques including MDM, configuration profiles, and device software licening required.
Experience with Jamf MDM and scripting tools preferred
Understanding of networks and Internet services
Understanding of various types of IT hardware
Good customer service skills
