HireDirect’s highly respected client has an open role for an HR Coordinator, Benefits. The Coordinator will handle the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. This administrator will continually investigate new benefits programs, improve existing programs, and supervise and monitor benefits administration. Your responsibilities:

– Develop deep knowledge of employee benefits plans and vendors

– Direct enrollments and determine employee eligibility

– Maintain detail oriented communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly

– Support administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

– Organize leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker’s compensation etc.)

– Support organization to comply with applicable government regulations

– Manage relationships with all our service providers

– Construct benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.

– Take charge of daily benefits processing

– Monitor transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration

– Help employees understand their benefit options


– Deep knowledge of benefits contract language

– Hands-on experience with data analysis

– Competent in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

– Excellent communication and organization skills

– 3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field
