For this Compliance Analyst/Officer position, you will support all aspects of the compliance programs by working with state and federal compliance teams. Part of this position is documenting procedures and processes, administering training, and monitoring compliance in its various forms. Your responsibilities in this role

– Grow processes and procedures to support compliance requirements

– Oversee compliance requirements and make sure associated tasks are assigned

– Sign off on the completion of tasks by the appropriate deadline

– Explore laws, federal orders, and state laws to assess compliance risks and to determine if applicable

– Document appropriate controls associated with compliance requirements based on established criteria

– Compose and proof compliance reports for monitoring and oversight

– Reach out to key stakeholders to confirm ownership and track completion of tasks, filings, and other regulatory requirements

– Direct policy management in compliance tools

– Cite and create a controls framework and implement in compliance tools

Requirements:

– Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in federal/state regulatory compliance or similar work experience in compliance

– Experience with controls testing and associated monitoring

– Capable of successfully working with Governance, Risk, Compliance tools

– This role includes duties like developing test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT), or data validation, so experience in these areas is preferred

– Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications

– Knowledgeable in identifying, documenting and implementing controls

– Work jointly with legal, IT professionals, and business partners to reach a mutually vested consensus

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience

– Talent in analyzing data/information and making recommendations to the business to meet compliance program requirements

– Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

– Compliance auditing experience

– Mortgage financing and lending experience

– Deep understanding of Fair Lending

– Experience with Consumer Protection

– Consumer Banking experience
