AVP, Technology Asset Management
HireDirect is seeking a global leader of the Asset Management organization to join our client the HireDirect (GTS) group located at the US headquarters in Warren, New Jersey.
This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
The Associate Vice President of Asset Management will report directly to the Vice President of Account Management and lead the global Asset Management organization. This role will establish and manage a global process for on industry standards and best practices. To be successful in this role, you will be recognized as the thought leader in asset management, while ensuring adoption across the enterprise and successfully executing the established process and technology.
Additional responsibilities including but are not limited to:
Accountable for the management and maturing of the enterprise asset management practice including establishing and growing the global asset management organization
Provide a real-time and accurate view of the global IT assets for improved controls, decision making and maintaining compliance with regulations and policies
Control assets ensuring the organization doesn’t use IT assets more than what is licensed for or pays for IT Assets which the organization no longer has or uses
Retire IT Assets securely and effectively to ensure adherence to environmental regulations, data security policies and improve IT asset reuse
Generate and present data analytics, visualizations and actionable insights collaborating with teams and Leaders to understand and drive areas of improvement
Drive more efficient and effective Asset Management processes, procedures, controls, and technologies with measurable reduction of risk and increased improvement
Provides insights and guidance of other ITSM practices including Incident management, change management, release management, Demand Management, and service level management
Leads and manages projects evolving the global asset management practice
Ensure compliance with corporate and IT policies and procedures
Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required
Work Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
5+ years of experience as a leader with global Asset Management responsibilities
Demonstrated experience leading and improving the global asset management practice for a global company
Superior organizational skills to manage a high volume of interactions including project teams, technology leaders, and business leaders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
Ability to take direction, demonstrate excellent teamwork, and work well with limited supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to see the long-term vision
Project / program management experience leading medium to large projects
Strong skills and experience developing and communicating information to all levels of the organization
